3 months ago • 24 notesChristian Siriano runway show at EyeBeam Atelier. Above are some of my favorites (which just happened to all be black…), but overall the show was kind of hit or miss for me. Granted, this could’ve been because it took us a good 20 minutes or so standing outside Lincoln Center/Empire Hotel in the cold trying to hail a cab. By the time we got into the show, I was frozen, my feet were killing me, my back was hurting, I hadn’t eaten or drank water in hours, I’d been up since 7 am with no coffee to help me stay running, and someone was sitting in my seat at the show. It was a rough start.
But that’s the thing: once I’m inside the show or presentation, literally nothing else matters anymore. I forget to eat or drink water or realize that I’ve been carrying my heavy bag in a really awkward position for a while. Then 3 hours later, I’m super cranky/hangry — and it’s entirely preventable. So anyway, I probably actually liked the show more than I remember liking it.
